KreativLab

KreativLab is an interdisciplinary project of the Faculty of Performing Arts at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna. The format is designed to encourage students to come together in cross-institutional ensembles. It is dedicated to interdisciplinary work, collaboration, the mutual exchange of practical experience and its questioning, as well as the exploration of new artistic forms. The synergy effects should lead to results that are enriching and surprising for all involved.

Based on the song (lyrics) Geradeaus by Deichkind and Roger Rekless (2023), the students develop an artistic project of their own creation. Existing material (texts, musical works, compositions, etc.) can be used to create something new. The artistic results are presented in two performance runs.
