These general terms and conditions (GTC) govern the legal relationship between visitors and Kulturzentrum Kabelwerk GmbH, Oswaldgasse 35A 1120 Vienna, and Theater Petersplatz GmbH, Marc-Aurel-Straße 3/6 1010 Vienna, +43 1 535 32 00 (hereinafter referred to as Theater am Werk).

The scope of the GTC includes the sale of tickets to the events offered on theater-am-werk.at as well as events for which tickets are purchased via the sales partner oeticket, CTS Eventim Austria Gmbh, Mariahilferstraße 41-43, 1060 Vienna, or at the box office at Theater am Werk.

A visitor is any person who enters the premises of the Theater am Werk box office for the purpose of purchasing tickets for performances or other events, as well as any person who has a valid ticket for the day of their performance visit. By purchasing a ticket, visitors accept the house rules.

The valid ticket must always be presented to Theater am Werk staff upon request. If a ticket discount is claimed, the eligibility for a discount must be presented on request.

In the event of violations of the house rules, visitors with valid tickets may be suspended from the performance. The purchase price will not be refunded in such cases.

All prices quoted are "gross prices" (including VAT). Printing errors and individual price changes are subject to change without notices. An overview of the current prices for each event can be found on the Theater am Werk website under ticket information.

Reduced-price tickets can only be purchased by visitors if they can prove that they belong to one of the beneficiary groups. Further information on the discounts granted at Theater am Werk can be found under ticket information.

There is no legal entitlement to discounted tickets, to specific tickets, ticket categories or to the reservation of one or more tickets. The discounted tickets are invalid without a photo ID proving eligibility. If a discounted ticket is claimed incorrectly, the difference in price may be charged and the visitor may be suspended from the performance. In the latter case, the purchase price of the ticket will not be refunded in part or in full.

If a visitor purchases a ticket via the oeticket platform, either directly or linked via the Theater am Werk website, the general terms and conditions of oeticket apply to the purchase of tickets, conclusion of contract, cancellation, payment modalities, right to withdrawal and all other content covered by the general terms and conditions. https://www.oeticket.com/help/terms/?affiliate=B38

The ticket reservation is a binding offer. Reservations are guaranteed until 30 minutes before the start of the performance. If reserved tickets are not collected 30 minutes before the start of the performance, the reservation expires and the tickets go on sale.

If visitors have reserved tickets via Theater am Werk, the data required for the reservation will be stored via the ticket system. The lawful processing of personal data takes place within the framework of the existing contractual relationship with visitors. If a ticket is passed on to another person, it is the responsibility of the original buyer to transfer the general terms and conditions of Theater am Werk to every subsequent buyer.

Offering and selling tickets for Theater am Werk performances via third parties is not permitted!

No money will be refunded for lost tickets. Ticket returns (exchange or repurchase) is not possible - with the exception of an event cancellation.

Short-term shifts of the start of the performance also do not qualify the ticket holder for returning their ticket. It is the responsibility of the visitor to find out about any changes to the start of the performance on the day of the performance. If the performance is canceled, an alternative performance may be offered. If this is not possible due to program-related or other reasons, Theater am Werk will only refund the ticket price if less than half of the performance has taken place at the time of cancellation.

Visitors are not permitted to record performances or parts thereof on sound and/or image carriers (photo, video, film, data storage).

Theater am Werk records sound and images at its events for the purpose of documentation and (live) reporting. In the above sense, Theater am Werk has a legitimate interest in these sound and image recordings. Further information on data protection can be found in our privacy policy.

The liability of Theater am Werk for slight negligence, compensation for consequential damages, financial losses, loss of profit and damages from third-party claims against visitors is excluded. The exclusion of liability for slight negligence does not apply to personal injury.

The place of performance is Vienna. Austrian law shall apply to this contract. The competent court at the registered office of the Ltd shall have jurisdiction. Should individual provisions of these GTC contradict mandatory statutory provisions, the remaining provisions of these GTC shall nevertheless remain valid.

By accessing and using www.theater-am-werk.at, visitors accept these terms and conditions without restriction or limitation.

Access to the theater-am-werk.at site is therefore subject to these provisions and all applicable laws. The theater-am-werk.at site contains information about events and activities of Theater am Werk and endeavors to keep this information as up-to-date as possible.
