Four players attempt to construct several love stories in different pairings under arbitrary formal constraints: each line begins with the same letter. This constraint gives rise to a fragile and unstable system, part game, part confession, part emotional breakdown.

Inspired by the Oulipo movement (L'Ouvroir de Littérature Potentielle), which explored the creative potential of restrictions in writing, its principles are reinterpreted for the stage, where grammar and emotion overlap, collide and cancel each other out. Through repetition, rupture and exhaustion, the participants show how language disciplines emotions, how love, like text, depends on editing, hesitation and deletion. What begins as a poetic exercise gradually unfolds into an anatomy of communication: two bodies, trapped in syntax, struggling to speak freely within a system that promises meaning but delivers only echoes.

L.O.V.E. is a series of love stories without sentimentality – mathematical, tragic and comical at the same time. Part Samuel Beckett, part group therapy, part failed spelling test.

toxic dreams was founded in 1997 by Kornelia Kilga (producer) and Yosi Wanunu (director and author). Since then, the group has realised more than 90 of its own productions. toxic dreams develops aesthetically and formally diverse formats in collaborative processes within the framework of multi-year work cycles. The current Rashomon cycle is dedicated to the polyphonic and contradictory process of finding truth on the basis of case studies. The Chosen One and Unwalling the Wall were performed at the Theater am Werk.
